Enugu North Stakeholders Hold Strategic Meeting on Development Agenda

A strategic meeting of stakeholders from Enugu North Senatorial Zone was held yesterday, focusing on development priorities and the future direction of the region under the leadership of Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah.

The meeting, hosted by the Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area, Engr. Jude Asogwa Chinedu, was chaired by the Deputy Governor, Ifeanyi Ossai. It provided a platform for stakeholders to deliberate on ongoing developmental efforts and align on strategies to advance the zone.

Key discussions centered on preparations for the governor’s forthcoming visit to Enugu North, as well as identifying actionable pathways to drive growth across academic, political, and economic sectors. Participants described the session as productive and forward-looking, emphasizing unity and a shared commitment to sustainable development.

Stakeholders also commended Governor Mbah for his leadership and ongoing infrastructural projects across the state. Highlighted projects within the zone include the New Anglican Road–Ugwuechara–Ogurugu Road, Mechanic Village Road, and Enyihuchiri Street, all expected to enhance connectivity and improve residents’ quality of life.

Speaking at the meeting, Engr. Chinedu expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their active participation and contributions, noting that their engagement was critical to the success of the deliberations. He reaffirmed the zone’s support for the governor’s vision and underscored the importance of continuity in leadership to consolidate ongoing achievements.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to sustain collaboration and work towards building a stronger and more prosperous Enugu North.
