...Music Album Dedicated To Gov. Mbah Unveiled
In continuation of its tour of all the local government areas in Enugu State to inaugurate its ward coordinators, interface with the people at grassroots and showcase the multisectoral, diversed and multifaceted achievements of Governor Peter Mbah’s administration across the nooks and crannies of the state that have put the state in a global map and restored the lost glory of the state, the leaders and members of Tomorrow Is Here Movement, (THM ) a vibrant and grassroot support group of Governor Peter Mbah’s administration led by its President, Mr. Tony Okonkwo visited Isi Uzo LGA on Wednesday November 26, 2025 by 2pm.
In total display of unity of purpose, show of solidarity, unflinching support for Governor Mbah's administration, the leaders and members of the movement were warmly and graciously received at the venue of the occasion, by la de creme, leaders and major stakeholders from the local government. They include the Chairman of the local government area, Barr. Obiora Obeagu, member representing Isi Uzo State Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Lebechi Eze, 2023 Labour Party governorship candidate in the state, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga, former State Chairman of PDP, Chief Augustine Nnamani, foremost farmer, entrepreneur and coordinator, Tomorrow is Here Movement Enugu East Senatorial Zone, Alhaji Sani Friday, Coordinator, Tomorrow Is Here Movement, Isi-Uzo LGA - Chief Eric Ebe, Traditional Rulers, Clergymen, women, men, youth organizations and others.
Addressing the mammoth crowd at the venue, the President-General of the movement Chief Tony Okonkwo, applauded the unalloyed loyalty and impregnable support of the Isi-Uzo people to Governor Mbah’s administration, describing them as exemplars and key pillars of grassroots mobilization for sustainable progress and development in the state. He enumerated Governor’s landmark achievements in two years, that include the ongoing construction of 260 Smart Green Schools, 260 Type-2 Hospitals, expansion of strategic road networks, the revamping of Hotel Presidential, and the completion of the International Conference Centre and many others.
Performing the formal inauguration of the ward coordinators, the Deputy Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Vice President-General of the movement, Rt. Hon. Ezenta Ezeani, eulogised Governor Mbah’s giant strides on education and youth empowerment, noting the historic and unprecedented 33% budgetary allocation to the education sector. He urged the newly inaugurated coordinators across the 11 wards to serve as credible and exemplary ambassadors of progress and champions of the Governor’s rural transformation vision.
Also speaking, Barr. Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga delivered a strong message of unity and development-focused partnership. He acknowledged Governor Mbah’s impactful leadership and highlighted that “support for genuine development must rise above party lines when the results speak for the people.”
He described the Movement as a needed bridge between government and communities, adding that “when governance brings real progress, endorsement becomes a responsibility of good conscience, not political obligation.”
He encouraged the coordinators to continue mobilizing citizens through constructive engagement, advocacy, and community feedback, all centered on impact and unity. His speech was greeted with wide applause and affirmations of solidarity from stakeholders present.
The Chairman of Isi-Uzo LGA, Barr. Obiora Chibuzo Obeagu thanked the movement for the honour of the visit and reaffirmed Council’s strong and undiluted support for Governor Mbah. He praised the Governor’s investments in education, security and water infrastructure, revealing that smart school projects were near completion, along with new boreholes across communities within the local government.
Major highlight of the event, which drew massive crowd across all 11 wards of Isi-Uzo, was the unveiling of a music album dedicated to Governor Peter Mbah in appreciation of his superlative and outstanding performance in office.
