Under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Enugu State Government continues to demonstrate that economic growth must be inclusive, deliberate, and people-centred.

As part of activities marking Deaf Awareness Week, the Enugu State Government, through the Enugu MSME & Startup Agency (Enugu SME Center), engaged deaf entrepreneurs and nano-business owners to reaffirm the administration’s commitment to ensuring that persons with disabilities (PWDs) are fully integrated into the State’s MSME and job-creation agenda.

This engagement underscores a clear policy position: no group is left behind. From skills development and enterprise support to access to opportunities, Enugu State is building an economy where every entrepreneur — including deaf and hard-of-hearing business owners — can participate, grow, and prosper.

His Excellency’s vision remains steadfast: a productive economy that works for all, where inclusion is not symbolic, but practical and measurable.
