The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani, has called on the people of the state to throw their weight behind the PDP ahead of the 2027 general elections, assuring them of purposeful leadership and people-oriented governance.

Nnamani stated that the hardship and suffering currently experienced by residents under the present administration had become unbearable, stressing that only a responsive and compassionate government could restore hope and improve the welfare of the masses.

Speaking during a media chat with journalists over the weekend, the PDP governorship flagbearer expressed concern over the worsening economic situation in the state, promising that his administration would introduce practical policies aimed at improving living standards, creating jobs, and lifting citizens out of poverty.

According to him, Enugu State deserves a government that prioritizes the welfare of the people, empowers youths, supports local businesses, and invests in critical sectors capable of driving sustainable economic growth.

“We cannot continue to watch our people suffer under harsh economic realities without decisive action. The people of Enugu deserve better living conditions, opportunities for growth, and a government that genuinely cares about their wellbeing,” Nnamani said.

He assured residents that his administration, if elected in 2027, would focus on economic revitalization, infrastructure development, improved healthcare delivery, quality education, and agricultural expansion to stimulate growth across the state.

The PDP candidate further pledged to run an inclusive government that would accommodate all parts of the state irrespective of political affiliation, while ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective governance.

Nnamani also urged party faithful and supporters to remain united and committed to the PDP’s vision for a better Enugu State, expressing confidence that the party would emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.

He maintained that the PDP remains the most experienced and organized platform capable of restoring the confidence of the people and repositioning Enugu State for greater prosperity.
