Engr Onyebuchi Emmanuel Nnaji, PhD stands out as a dynamic academic, seasoned professional, and respected engineer whose contributions continue to enrich Nigeria’s scientific and technological space. A COREN-registered chemical engineer and member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), he has built an admirable career rooted in excellence, innovation, and dedication to knowledge.

Dr. Nnaji having obtained first and second degrees in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Enugu also recently attained the prestigious Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution. His academic journey reflects not only intellectual depth but also a strong commitment to research that addresses Nigeria’s and the world’s pressing technological and environmental challenges.

His research interests are notably aligned with global priorities in sustainability and industrial efficiency. They include Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems, Waste-to-Energy Conversion, and Sustainable Composite Materials—areas that speak to his passion for creating cleaner, more efficient, and more environmentally-friendly technologies. Through these interests, he has contributed meaningful insights into how science and engineering can solve practical problems in modern society.

With over 15 years of teaching and academic experience, Dr. Nnaji has mentored numerous students and young engineers, shaping the next generation of professionals in chemical engineering. His impact is well documented through a collection of respectable journal articles and conference papers that reflect his scholarly depth and engagement with the scientific community.

Beyond research and teaching, Dr. Nnaji possesses strong technical competencies. He is skilled in Process Simulation and Modelling, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Design Expert, among other engineering tools essential for modern analytical and design tasks. These competencies highlight his versatility and readiness to tackle complex engineering challenges from conceptualization to practical application.
