He noted that as a retired Deputy Comptroller of the Nigeria Customs Service, and former Executive Chairman of Nkanu West LGA, he is committed to enforcing professionalism, accountability and efficiency in the corporation.

He further assured that all pending court cases involving the corporation would be critically reviewed and resolved in line with due process, to ensure stability and progress.

In a related development, Chief Nnamani, on assumption of office, was honoured with a Pillar of Humanity Award by the Dorcas Sustainable Global Initiative. The award was presented to him by the Convener of the initiative, Hon. Mrs Adaora Aneke, in recognition of his selfless service to humanity and contributions to community development.

Receiving the award, Chief Nnamani expressed gratitude and pledged to intensify his commitment to touching the lives of the less privileged in society, noting that public service should always translate into tangible impact on the people.

The Board Chairman was later taken on a facility tour of the corporation by the Managing Director and other top management staff, after which a board meeting was held to deliberate on key operational issues.
