Dr. Nick Ogbodo has congratulated Dr. Chika Igwesi, Chief Nwabueze Nnamani, Rt. Hon. USA Igwesi and Hon. Childera Odo on their recent appointments as Chairmen, Enugu State Road Maintenance and Development Agency, Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHD), New Enugu Smart City Development Authority, and Enugu State Road Fund respectively by the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
In a commendation message made available to the press, Dr. Ogbodo described the appointments as well-deserved, noting that the appointees have distinguished themselves through years of service, competence and commitment to the development of Enugu State.
He expressed confidence that the calibre of individuals appointed by Governor Mbah would bring renewed efficiency, professionalism and results-oriented leadership to the offices entrusted to them.
According to him, “These appointments reflect Governor Peter Mbah’s consistent emphasis on merit, insightful, capacity and integrity in building a strong and effective team to drive his administration’s development agenda. Dr. Chika Igwesi, Chief Nwabueze Nnamani, Rt. Hon. USA Igwesi and Hon. Childera Odo have the experience and vision required to deliver on the expectations of the people.”
Dr. Ogbodo further applauded Governor Mbah for finding the appointees worthy to serve, describing the move as another demonstration of the governor’s commitment to inclusive governance and purposeful leadership.
He urged the newly appointed officials to justify the confidence reposed in them by discharging their duties with diligence, transparency and dedication to the progress of Enugu State.
The commendation concluded with a call for stakeholders and residents of the state to support the appointees and the Mbah administration in its drive to achieve sustainable development and good governance.
