The 5th edition of the Frontier Discourse Annual Public Lecture and Awards is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Nigerian National Merit Award House (Merit House) in Maitama, Abuja.

The event is expected to convene prominent figures from government, civil society, the private sector, and academia to engage in high-level discussions on national development and governance.

Organized by Pacesetter Frontier Magazine, a privately owned, dual-bureau print and digital publication established in 2020 with a readership that includes diaspora communities, Frontier Discourse was launched in 2021 as a platform to bridge the communication gap between African leaders and citizens. The initiative aims to foster public-private sector dialogue, review pressing policy issues, and celebrate individuals who have made impactful contributions to Africa’s development.

According to the organizers, this year’s edition will feature keynote lectures, panel discussions, and special segments, including poetry, comedy, and cultural exhibitions.

“Until now, past editions have been held in Enugu, except for the fourth edition, which was virtual. This time, we are taking the 5th edition to Abuja.

“It is also a strategic move to announce the launch and establishment of the Northern Bureau of our magazine while allowing for greater inclusiveness among participants and key stakeholders,” said Doris Ewoh, Head of the Southern Bureau.

She also noted that since its inception, Frontier Discourse has played a vital role in fostering informed dialogue on national and continental challenges. It has hosted over 4,000 Africans, both physically and virtually. The event has promoted constructive conversations that contribute to better policy decisions among political leaders, public office holders, and other stakeholders.
