LAGOS - Temi Nkem has emerged winner of the 11th season of the popular reality television show, Big Brother Naija, following a keenly contested grand finale on Sunday night.

Nkem was crowned the winner after weeks of competition, nominations, evictions and intense drama among the housemates, bringing the latest edition of the reality show to a close.

The victory earned Nkem a prize package valued at N160 million, making the housemate the latest winner of the BBNaija franchise.

The season opened with 24 housemates before the number was gradually reduced through weekly evictions to the final group of contestants.

The finalists were Temi Nkem, Barry, Tram, Oyin, Flora, Sheba, Aikou, Ricky and Bluethopia.

Barry was the first finalist to leave the competition during the live finale, followed by Oyin, Ricky and Flora as the contest progressed towards the final stages.

Nkem eventually outlasted the remaining contestants to claim the coveted title after securing the support of viewers through the voting process.

The win marks the culmination of several weeks of tasks, nominations, evictions and public voting, with Nkem now set to take home the season's top prize.
