NOVEMBER: ODERA GREETS NDI ENUGU, REAFFIRMS 2027 GOVERNORSHIP AMBITION AND COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE-ORIENTED GOVERNANCE

Enugu State, November 1, 2026 - Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani (ODERA) has extended warm New Month greetings to the people of Enugu State, expressing optimism for renewed hope, greater opportunities, lasting peace and shared prosperity across the state.

In his goodwill message, Nnamani acknowledged the resilience, hard work and aspirations of Ndi Enugu, noting that every new month presents another opportunity to renew hope, strengthen relationships and work collectively towards a better future. He extended his heartfelt wishes to families, workers, traders, entrepreneurs, young people and residents across the state’s 17 local government areas.

He emphasised that the true measure of development goes beyond physical infrastructure and economic statistics to include the quality of life of ordinary citizens, opportunities for young people, the growth of businesses and the ability of families to look forward to a more secure and prosperous future. He maintained that the welfare, dignity and aspirations of the people must remain at the centre of every meaningful development agenda.

Nnamani called for sustained unity, mutual understanding and cooperation among the people, stressing that the progress of Enugu State requires leadership that listens, understands and responds to the genuine needs of its citizens. He reiterated his belief that every community deserves attention, every citizen deserves dignity and everyone should have an opportunity to participate in and benefit from the state’s development.

Looking ahead to the 2027 governorship election, Nnamani reaffirmed his unwavering commitment and determination to contest the election and reclaim the PDP’s mandate through democratic and lawful means. He assured Ndi Enugu that he remains resolute in pursuing this aspiration, with the ultimate objective of providing a people-oriented government that places the interests, welfare and aspirations of the people above every other consideration. He stressed that governance must be about service, accountability, inclusive opportunities and delivering tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.

He expressed confidence in the enormous potential of Enugu State and the capacity of its people to build a future defined by economic prosperity, social harmony, equal opportunities and sustainable development. He urged Ndi Enugu to remain hopeful and united in the collective pursuit of a state where government works for the people and development translates into meaningful improvements in their everyday lives.

As November begins, Nnamani wished all residents a peaceful, productive and fulfilling month, praying for God’s continued guidance, protection and blessings upon Enugu State and its people.
