Enugu Community Leaders Pledge Support for State Government in 2026

Enugu, January 1, 2026 - The Chairman of the Enugu State Council of Presidents-General, Hon. Chief Arinze Nnia Ogbodo, has extended New Year greetings to Ndi Enugu and community leaders across the state, while reaffirming the council’s commitment to supporting the Enugu State Government in the year 2026.

In a New Year message, Ogbodo commended the Governor of Enugu State for what he described as visionary, purposeful, and people-centered leadership, noting that the current administration has continued to reposition the state on the path of sustainable development, peace, and economic growth.

According to him, the government’s focus on infrastructural renewal, good governance, and inclusive development has rekindled hope at the grassroots and strengthened public confidence in governance across the state.

Ogbodo stated that, as Chairman of the Enugu State Council of Presidents-General, the body remains fully prepared to partner with the state government in mobilizing communities, sustaining peace, and ensuring the effective implementation of government policies and programmes in towns and villages across Enugu State.

He emphasized that community leadership remains a critical pillar of governance, stressing that the council would continue to serve as a vital link between government and the people, while promoting unity, political stability, and active grassroots participation in development initiatives.

Calling on residents to remain united, supportive, and committed to the collective vision for the state, Ogbodo urged Ndi Enugu to work together toward building a stronger, more united, and progressive Enugu State.

He concluded by wishing the people of the state a prosperous New Year, expressing hope that 2026 would usher in greater achievements, prosperity, and enduring progress for Enugu State.
